She is the Artistic Director of Shakespeare in Clark Park & the Artist Associate at InterAct Theater Company. At SCP she is spearheading a commitment to Radical Community Engagement which includes the people of Philadelphia as integral performers in each summer’s production. Philadelphia directing credits include COPENHAGEN (Lantern Theatre Company), CORIOLANUS (SCP), UNCLE VANYA (Hedgerow Theater Company), the world premier of A KNEE THAT CAN BEND (Orbiter 3 - Barrymore Nomination, Best Director), THE WINTER’S TALE (SCP), ON THE VERGE (Hedgerow) and WE CAN ALL AGREE TO PRETEND THIS NEVER HAPPENED (Tiny Dynamite). Recent acting work: HAND TO GOD (Boise Contemporary Theater), INFORMED CONSENT (Lantern), GROUNDED (InterAct, Barrymore Nomination – Best Actress) & OR (Hedgerow). Other Philadelphia credits include: THE BODY LAUTREC (Cromie & Tuomanen) DOWN PAST PASSYUNK (InterAct), BEHIND THE EYE (Gas & Electric), THE PRIDE OF PARNELL STREET (Act 2) and THE EARLY BIRD (Inis Nua). Recent on camera work: LAW & ORDER: SVU, OUTSIDERS, THOSE WHO KILL, AFTERMATH (with Arnold Schwartzeneggar) and upcoming roles on THE UPSIDE (with Bryan Cranston & Nicole Kidman), M. Night Shayamalan’s new film GLASS and CREED 2 (with Michael B. Jordon & Phylicia Rashas). She previous served as the Artistic Associate at InterAct where she created and lead the Core Playwrights Residency, and as Literary Manager for New Jersey Repertory Company. She has helped to develop new plays with Play Penn, Seven Devil Playwrights Conference, The Eugene O’Neill Puppetry Conference and The Lark. She received a 2016 commission from Lantern Theater to write a musical, MINORS, with composer Robert Kaplowitz, which will receive it’s world premier in 2019.
